Left school at 16 to join the police in Birmingham.
Moved to London in 1986 and have spent the past 36 years selling carpets and carpet tiles into commercial offices and hotels.
Head of A&D for Milliken for 10years.
I had my own company Fine Pitch for 14 years and have now left floorcovering to work in storage solutions.
My late husband was an associate at Gensler and so I know lots of the old school industry faces but it's never too late to learn new tricks and meet more people.
