Tim Finbow CEng MIStructE is a civil and structural engineer with more than 25 years experience on a range of residential and commercial projects.  He is an active engineer as well as being financial director of Walsh, an award-winning London-based civil, structural and geotechnical engineering consultancy providing elegant, buildable solutions to complex challenges.

Tim’s key clients include Hollybrook Homes, Mace, Bellway Homes, Downing, Telford Homes and Get Living. His landmark projects include The Library of Birmingham, the Westminster Hospital conversion (residential), Eagle Wharf (student accommodation), Willoughby Road (commercial) and leading the design of Mace’s Rising Factory MMC solutions on Victory Plaza and Portlands Place (BTR). He has also delivered temporary major works schemes including St Helens Place.

Tim is particularly interested in problem solving for the built environment and is considered a ‘go to’ resource by clients looking to make their development viable whether this is via innovations in construction methods, materials, design or economics.
