John is a highly experienced Chartered Building Services Engineer and joint founder of BTP Consultants.

Having graduated from Loughborough University in 1990 with a First Class Degree in Building Ser- vices Engineering, John has applied solid engineering foundations to build a career with an emphasis of providing technical excellence.

Always at the forefront of engineering and new technology, John’s early career balanced practical project experience with engineering excellence and included the design of low energy office cooling systems, dynamic thermal modelling, highly serviced Pharmaceutical buildings, low energy Mission Critical buildings and Airport Terminals.

Having become a Chartered Engineer in 1998 and a Member of the Engineering Council, John pub- lished a research paper in 1999 (Dynamic Thermal Modelling) in collaboration with Coventry Universi- ty in parallel with his developing career. In 2006 John became one of the first CIBSE accredited Low Carbon Assessors.

Following an international career with some of the leading engineering consultants John set up BTP Consultants Ltd in 2018 forming an engineering consultancy to provide the highest levels of technical advice and customer service by adding value to the clients and project teams.
